An SRV (Service) record specifies the location of specific services in your domain. It allows you to define the hostname, port number, priority, and weight for services like SIP, XMPP, LDAP, and others.
Set appropriate priority values to ensure proper failover behavior (lower numbers are tried first).
Use weight values to distribute load among servers with the same priority.
Always prefix service names with underscore (_) and use standard protocol names.
